With nearly 100 phones to start with, the QCIL network has Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches forming a Gigabit Ethernet backbone in the new building, and as a Layer-3 distribution layer. The building contains a dedicated Cisco 2821 Router T1/E1 Channel Associated Signalling (CAS) connections to the PSTN and WAN resources.
